summer of somewhereto_ Exhibition and POt Luck Supper |July 25-27Th 2014

'Summer of somewhereto_'  was a festival and art exhibition in the Circus Street market warehouse curated by Ashleigh Ward, Delivery Partner for somewhereto_SE in collaboration with with Iklect, Canopy Creative and students from the University of Brighton faculty of arts.

Canopy Creative organised a ‘Pot Luck Supper’ where people brought a dish and bottle of wine each and shared the food table. Part of the decoration for the supper included a hanging Sussex meadow above a long trestle tablewith mismatched crockery. Check out the video of this creative gathering.

As well as artists work on display, there were workshops and events including a free 3D projection-mapping workshop from the collective L.E.G.

The opening night saw more then 700 guests attending and local Brighton & Hove MP Caroline Lucas came along to meet the organisers and show her support.
