South East Dance.
Bringing the circus street area alive with dance

Cathedral Group are proudly partnering with South East Dance to give children in the Tarner area of Brighton an exciting taste of what’s to come in our proposed Circus Street scheme at the Dance Space and theatre building.

South East Dance are getting involved with local community groups including Carlton Hill Primary School, Jubilee Library, Oasis Project Brighton and Three Score Dance Company, with taster dance sessions for children and their families starting this month at Circus Street. This will develop into a long-term programme of community dance work that South East Dance can take forward into the new Dance Space once complete, and we hope, bring dance and physical theatre to everyone in the city.

On 28th-30th August, South East Dance and The Movement Collective present, Casting Traces.

Inspired by Paul Auster's seminal novel, The New York Trilogy, this cross genre 50-minute promenade performance invites the audience into a unique dance experience set within an architect designed paper labyrinth. 6.45pm and 8.30pm. £12.50 / £8 concessions. Click here for tickets.
