South East Dance and The NEW Movement Collective present, Casting Traces. Aug 28-30th 2014. Tickets £12.50/£8

The New Movement Collective wowed visitors with their fusion of dance, architecture, film and specially commissioned music. The paper labyrinth they constructed in the Circus Street space created a world of illusion, mystery and shadow play, where nothing is as it seems.

Inspired by Paul Auster’s seminal novel, The New York Trilogy, this promenade performance invites the audience into a unique dance experience set within a paper labyrinth at Circus Street Market.

Touching on popular themes of detective novels and modern issues of ever-present surveillance, the audience becomes involved in the performance, projected on to screens by hidden cameras, influencing the transformation of their surroundings.

Dates: Thurs 28th Aug: 8.30pm
Fri 29th Aug: 6.45pm & 8.30pm
Sat 30th Aug: 6.45pm and 8.30pm
