Overlooking the new Market Square and the Dance Space outdoor performance area, White Cloud Coffee are currently fitting out their new flagship café occupying a 1,130 square foot space in Circus Street, which will offer indoor and outdoor seating for up to 40 people, serving coffee and delicious food for breakfast, brunch and lunch.
The brainchild of former elite cyclist Craig Pitt and triathlete Phil Grundy, Brighton-based White Cloud Coffee have built their business around buying great coffee from sustainable sources around the world and supplying it to homes, cafés and offices.
“We believe in putting passion into everything that we do; that’s why we focus on creating the right atmospheres at our cafes that reflect the local community,” said Craig. “At Circus Street, we’re partnering with South East Dance, another foundation tenant, to create an inclusive community hub.
“We work with leading chefs and sommeliers to create tantalising roast profiles for our coffees, because we think that even if you have just one cup of coffee in the morning, you should make it count, and it makes you feel great.”
“White Cloud Coffee will be an important cornerstone of the new Circus Street community and we have more ground floor space ready for other exciting and innovative businesses to move in and help create a joyful atmosphere here,” said Rob Sloper, Development Director of Circus Street developers U+I.
“We’re in discussions with a range of creative businesses to move into The Office at Circus Street, designed by award winning architects shedkm, who conceived state-of-the-art, flexible space with energy efficiency and the very best digital connectivity at its core.”
The building is environmentally sustainable and has been built to enhance the wellbeing of those inside, evidenced by an industry leading BREEAM Excellent certification.
